When we call the short sale department, we are put on hold (after entering our loan #) and then it goes to a fast busy signal as if someone picked up and immediately hung up.

While this suggests the owner is not motivated, he or she is probably afraid of alerting tenants to the fact that the property is up for sale, as they are afraid that it will signal to the tenants to stop paying rent, etc., as well as anger the tenants they have befriended over the years.We face this same problem all the time, so don't feel like you're being singled out.

@Joe Alford lots of virtue signalers on her but I’m pretty compassionate myself so I’d give her some free prune Juice and a QVC gift certificate when I evict her.
