When it hardens (after 45 minutes), you should get a standard hand sanding block (where you cut the sheet into 4 long strips) and a piece of 1-inch thick foam cut to fit under it and wrap good-quality 100-grit sandpaper around that.

There might be someone that can drill small holes and spray foam in the walls.First thing get someone else to make 100% sure your AC is working as it should.I have had people who think there house should be 60F in the summer and 90F in the winter, find out if this is the case.

This could indicate quite a few things from too high of an initial asking price for the condition of the home, +$1M McMansions shaving off 5%, banks not being able to keep up with value increases due to their slow mortgage processing times, etc.Overall, I agree with you that I have never heard anyone else claim homes are "more affordable" than in 2007 and I would love to see some data on that.

Because of the properties I work in, I often have to deal with flathead screws like these.The vast majority of my tools are kept in large 50-gallon gasket-sealed mobile job boxes, large structural-foam gasket-sealed toolboxes, various toolbags, gasket-sealed Ziploc bins, and of course orange Homer buckets.

there are TONS of threads on the best way to soundproof on here and the Audio Video forums. the best stuff is Roxul from home depot.here's the short story..1. spray foam or roxul2. de-coupling channels on the studs, then attach soundproof drywall3. another layer of drywall installed with de-coupling adhesivethis is expensive and time consuming. but it works wonders.
