During the pandemic, businesses closed, and land and buildings were unused.

I just moved out of Houston (Sugar Land) after living there for the last 12 years.

We figured the septic permit from the county would be sufficient - but turns out our foundation quote/budget was way too low due to soft soil.We're trying to figure out if we can get the land under another type of financial instrument and continue with the RV plans without putting a home on the property. 

Not necessarily land, as it is very costly to build there as all materials except for some concrete products have to be shipped in.

I think my best option is to relocate to a cheap market, buy land, build a cheap house, and sell and once I gain more experience I can come back to Austin.
