I would assume there are some people on here who have gone down the path of developing affordable housing projects for their respective markets. 

I'm working on various projects to get it ready to rent and reduce the immediate capex expenditures once a tenant is in there. 

Have any of you worked on a project similar to this?

I am going to start another campaign in the very near future once one of my units is filled again to look for the next project.

Would it be logical to STR instead of LTR after project is finished and I move out (I no longer have to U-Haul furniture across the US 2x a year and I can look for markets beyond the Southeast and Midwest)?

Also wouldn't mind building a relationship to team up on a project. 

They're thinking what would make me sound smart, what would project this to the listener.

They're more blue collar and are not always the most reliable if they're too tied up in other projects.

Or pricing is higher than the project can handle.

Earlier this year, the government did not renew or pass any law to extend bonus depreciation back to 100% after 2027, so the current phase-out schedule remains in place.In the meantime, I would recommend doing some tax planning to assess where you stand in terms of projected tax liability for 2024.
