Must keep crews to 5 and under, wear masks, keep 1-2 guys per floor, and just be smart about it.

Standing seam metal roofs are durable but not indestructable - wind damage that might just tear off some shingle tabs can peel a metal roof like a banana if it's not fastened properly.

Anyone who says it is has probably never had to clean a real bad one......you know, the ones where you have to wear 2 masks....and even after the carpet is out and the subfloors sanded, and new primer and paint.....you can still not walk in the house.

I am assuming it is similar everywhere:- peeling paint- smoke/CO2 detectors- hand railings sturdy and in place where needed- windows open and close properly- heat/hot water functioning as it should- any obvious safety issues

I'd keep your eyes peeled for those.I think old houses can still be as good of an investment as newer houses - you just have to find properties where you can buy at the right price.

Since it is all new wood decking, I would use a clear preservative to maintain the beauty of the wood while still giving it the protection it needs.Paint peels and needs repainting from time to time.
