when at garage sales, I bring a book to read at appointments that run tardy or at the shop vs browsing my phone, I lift/do work before gym class starts vs just waiting by the door, I talk to the older folks after their senior circuit training, I listen to podcasts in bike class vs the same old music offered, I sweep up and clean up after myself on service calls and usually address something else while there, I smile and listen and am genuinely curious about the other person in conversations, I have no consumer debt or shiny new toys or gadgets, etc.

If it is walking too loud I have told tenants to work it out between them but I have had to tell tenants no powertool/workshops, Super loud music, incessant barking, clogs/drunken shenanigans on the stairs and kids running the hallway after quiet hours.

If the guest disturb your neighbors in the middle of the night with music or anything, or smoke, or drug or bringing prostitutes to your place, etc... there is no compensation and basically no penalty for the guests.

My attorney called the phone number they had on the application and he said it was just music playing.So, since I pay the attorney to keep me out of trouble, I didn't sign anything and I didn't pay any money.....just being cautious.That was only "my" experience the past week or so.
