It’s been a little while since my business degree, I’m in healthcare now, but from what I remember of vertical vs. horizontal organizational structures… the vertical organization has power deriving from the top.

@Devan Mcclish  your drinking the anti broker cool aid and your comments are not even close to being correct.IN some states maybe but in many states no way...its really simple buy the property and resell it... find a broker who allows you do your own transactions.. that's simple enough .

Feels like a conflict of interest but it can aid in lowering repair costs, responsiveness & times.- I thought the same thing when I first started out.

I am new to real estate investing and am torn between all the options.I negotiate contracts for a living in the healthcare space and hope to bring some of that background to this venture. 

Senior housing is all the rage and its within the spectrum of healthcare but it's closer to hospitality or multi-family product than it is to medical office and requires operational capabilities that I don't have.

Seems like more than half the USA has aid for housing costs. 

I am currently working a full time job in health care, but hopefully not for long.

I have held an interest in the field of real estate investing longer than any other, and I am genuinely excited about the prospects.Before my questions, let me tell you a little bit about myself to aid with answers!

My experience is actually in health care, but I recently joined the real estate world last year when I became a licensed realtor.
