I've found that  some small claims magistrates  don't like to mess  with movies and pics.

The cost of all that junk, from whatever scene of the movie Labyrinth it originated, likely cost more to buy new than what they owed you in rent.

This strategy has proved itself, and I never lost any sleep over my rentals.However, I have known hobby landlords who tried to save money and ended up with enough pain and drama to inspire a movie or two.Bottom line, it's a risky game.

For example, in my area one of those shopping warehouse clubs is now displacing a self-storage facility; in that shopping area there exist a Lowes and a Target and a movie theater multiplex, so the people are flocking to this shopping center, and the self-storage facility can now be displaced for bigger revenues from the shopping warehouse club that is now moving in.

We've all seen the movies - "Ignorance of the law is no excuse", but the 'bad guy' here is clearly this squatter IMHO.....
