As in, they’re actively searching for owners out of state, checking to see if their properties are vacant, then immediately slating them for demo at your expense. 

If your walls are already drywall it may be better to demo and re-install, especially if you're handy with drywall.

So, use a breathable wall system like lap siding and tyvek, or something equivalent.A benefit of doing this is increasing the R-value of the walls by a little bit and keeps demo costs down. 

The house needed a complete tear down and rehab, and not only did I participate as an investors but my partner and I helped throughout the Demo and rehab.
