There are still things we don't know... like what the value of other properties like yours in the area are worth...but I will throw out a couple of thoughts for you.As to appraised value - many appraisers look at what the property is being sold for and base their appraisal around that number.

  $350k is nearly the median home price across the nation, which Iearned at BPcon2024 is roughly $402k.A couple of other metrics I would like to consider are the purchase price-to-rent ratio and average time on the market for rentals (length of supply).

The exterior was painted when we bought it, we refinished the floors, added carpet, new paint inside, refinished the kitchen cabinets, replaced a couple windows and did some minor plumbing work inside (along with getting rid of TONS of junk throughout the inside and outside of the home!)
