So I am wondering if any other landlords are giving their tenants more leeway for non-rent related transgressions during the pandemic eviction ban we are currently facing in various states and the recent CDC order?

I have been to HOA meetings where one of my short terms is located and every year someone brings up the proposal to ban short term rentals — and that is in an area that allows them!

Be advised, the HOA's have the final power though, so no matter what the city, state, county allows, the HOA can one day vote to ban them and not much you can do in those situations...except convert it to a regular rental...but of course there are rules there as well around rental saturation within communities.

They do allow STR's and cover so much real estate (Palm Springs), I'd be very surprised if they were to ever outright ban STR's.
