No one starts investing in real estate knowing everything, so don’t be ashamed to admit when you’re learning.As an investor, when you’re looking a property make sure you consider the community the property is in.

But since then, his net worth is up $180k so he's not ashamed anymore :)Ultimately depends on your goals. if you want to flip a house a year then don't do it.

Well it was a fortune and we handled everything after getting a guardianship, and she was able to be located into a fine convalescent home for her final years and to create a will to leave her estate to charity.I felt very good about that but I have to confess my first thoughts were to hell with the previous owner, and how was I going to spend all that money but I could hear my mother's voice saying I will never be ashamed of you if you do what is right, advice given to me when I did something wrong and developed a ton of quilt and wanted to fix it.

But, I am ashamed to say, even though I have owned these rentals since 2002, I don't know much about investing. 

I'd just say, "Well, you know I have to do this," or "Sorry, I can't make exceptions," or "It would really be a shame if you were to get evicted, but if I have to I will..." 

It’s a shame that we as a country have let Covid take over so much of our lives but that’s a discussion for a different date.
