I’m not gonna sit here and tell you it’s necessary a great time to buy, on any given year even few years in the area it makes more sense to rent (I rented in navy yard because it was cheaper to rent than buy and I can’t see staying for more than a few years) however if it’s a place you can see living in 3+ years it’s probably much better to buy, it depends on your lifestyle/goals.
