Hey Padric, I'd like to commend you for thinking outside the box for your housing needs. 

A few hundred bucks can save you a few thousand on about any kind of ad-box negotiations/insurance claims.

I'm not sure how others outside of the US and Canada can create events though.One nuance that I found was it kept giving me an error and wouldn't let me post the event until I realized that the blank box next to the end time was to select a timezone (only North American timezones are listed). 

We’re 3 days away and I haven’t seen a single box or evidence of packing.

Since we are buying several of each item (we need 2-3 sets now) and hopefully will be rehabbing 8-12 by year 2/3, has anyone had success negotiating a bulk discount with either the big box brands or with a smaller family owned appliance store or even a retail distributor. 

Do a quick search in the box above and you will see a lot of comments on large sums of money people have spent for coaching/training.

The other method that was successful was lag bolting a "Job Box" to the floor joists 

Make sure you know how much the foam will expand... if you squirt a bunch of it in there, it can actually distort the frame and cause the window to bind up when you try to open it.If you're going to buy most or all of the windows at once, you might see if your favorite big-box store has a "pro" program. 

They are trained to fit you into the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac boxes.
