The main issue is that in Sandbridge, there are a couple of management companies that have their own booking sites, since Sandbridge has been a vacation rental spot for a very long time, well, before Airbnb was a thing.

You can read every book there is on RE and still get nowhere.

Right now I’ve just been watching BP videos and just bought a real estate investing book on amazon.

I highly recommend that you go to a weekend event with Scott Meyers and read several books on self storage.

I've have read many books, listened to many podcasts, and read many posts on this forum and still do so, but I sat on the sidelines for a number of years just trying to save enough money in my emergency fund before starting to save some down payment money. 

For the most part they don't want to write new business at all and they are all combing thru their books trying to non-renew anything they think may be an issue.

I've taken all the major options to consideration such as book keeping, accounting, taxes, payments, maintenance/trouble calls, price of software etc.At this point, I'm looking for the most balanced option that will best help protect myself and my assets.

My STR is booked more and I can charge a premium that offsets the cost of maintenance.
