Some investors think they should get a discount on every transaction, because they do two or three a year.

I can't say my profitability over the last 6 years was a resounding success, as I am sure if I invested in Manhattan, or the stock market, I would have done -TREMENDOUSLY- well.

They're really easy to use nowadays, with pretty low expenses, and extremely easy to purchase through a discount brokerage, so you can save more of your money while diversifying over whatever base you want.

@Chris May I have been asking for and receiving fairly large discounts on the properties I have purchased in Oakland. 

These properties usually will not be sold for any type of real discount it seems.
