Do not make the mistake of thinking you are comparing apples to apples here.

Did I make a rookie mistake by asking for a detailed breakdown of the costs that could have cost me "reputation points"?

Any advice on how to handle the situation, or mistakes to avoid?  

I made the mistake of letting someone rent a workshop on my property using a verbal contract and that was a big mistake.

I’m not sure what to make of it other than perhaps she is trying to bait us into making a mistake.

My guy says "This may be a mistake" but if all of the pros are telling me to go for it, I think I will.

Then I started researching about flipping them and the opinions of wetter it's a good idea or a terrible idea are about 50/50 so now I am in the same predicament again and worried I will make a terrible mistake.
