The way that I interpreted this section is that if I were to cancel with them, I'd owe commission until the end of the 1-yr term.  

There's been an interpreter, sheriff, & investigator all out to speak with them during the last 6 weeks, and they just don't seem to care.

You did not notice that you should have taken a different route.The interpretation of this is that what you should have paid attention to when you bought your Investment Property was the Big Three Domestic Automotive companies that 90% of the Economics of Detroit was dependent on.

The development of an AI system that can interpret scope of work and not only write code but utilize the latest and greatest SDK's,  use different development environments, download/install/configure frameworks/DBMS and use appropriate languages in the most efficient manner is way off.  

@Joseph S. since property rating is anything but scientific the whole rating scale is subject to ones interpretation.

Everything depends on the specific wording in the contract and on how the courts and real estate commission interpret the contract.

I agree that it is always a good idea to check with the correct authority or reread the Landlord Tenant act, but even then interpreting the law may be solved differently by everyone.    

(I do hate the property grading system tho... its to open to interpretation.) 

Folks believing they are circumventing this fairly straightforward interpretation are just not happy accepting reality.
