I have a relative who just installed the Ultra version, and I am thinking of doing the same, so here is what I have found in my research so far:  Trafficmaster Allure has the grip strip (adhesive strips built in), and the video on Home Depot's website under that particular product shows that you have to use a leveler for any grout lines greater than 1/4" as the planks are flexible and the grout lines (or other defects) will become visible over time.

We have been using electric zip ties to secure the signs, but I see some pros (the cash for car guys) using some type of black adhesive.We are looking to speed up the act of putting up the signs and I was wondering if anyone has any experience using this black adhesive, know where I can get some and any other tips.

However, since it's me that's doing the painting on trim, I brush-apply all trim paint, and a gallon goes a very, very, very long way in properly prepped and primed interior trim.Speaking of making white wall and trim paint go a long way, Kilz2 primer costs about $15 gallon and an undercoat of that will get a lot more performance out of whatever expensive paint you use, as well as guarantee better paint adhesion.

I suggest not letting them talk you into the less expensive glue down or glue together - the adhesives start to deteriorate.
