I work in commercial real estate at a debt and equity placement adviser and have experience in the finance aspect of real estate but know little of construction or the details like what regulatory authorities that I'd have to go through to execute.

Even if the use is authorized, what do codes say about utilities, entrance and access?

I am a broker in Missouri and I have a client that I handle leasing for (not management)  that prefers that I sign the lease as a "authorized agent" on his behalf.

It was a 4-unit building and i'm allowed to put back a 4-unit building.I have started discussions with the Nova Scotia Housing Authority regarding getting grants for building affordable housing.   4 units is as low as they'll go but they'll fund up to 25k per unit.   

Unless you are the owner or authorized by the owner you will not get that info.

I am no expert but I am pretty sure you have to get DSO authorization to work off campus.

Also would recommend section 8, because the housing authority will somewhat educate the tenant on their responsibilities also.Renting is what you want it to be.Also recommend reading Landlording on Autopilot, will give you some insight on educate your tenant for the best results.
