First thing to know is it's very difficult to talk a leasing agent into it because most are too dim-witted, it's true, they will struggle to grasp the very concept of it so it's best to have it written out on a 1 page paper AND to use an example for them to pitch the property owner with because they will never let you speak with owner directly, hence the paper because there going to forget half of what you tell them and screw-up the other half, so make it uber-simple.

I would just take the loss if you can’t afford to attend small claims court.I am leaning towards this..it is not always a good business decision to take the time off of work and fly somewhere and deal with the stress of going to court, printing evidence, asking witnesses to come to court, and it’s all for a lousy 1k, just to prove that I am right.i would rather get her off of my back and focus on something that will make me money.my time is precious.don’t want to waste it fighting over 1kthank u guys all for helping me out!
