I started early in my career by attending a local land lording group in the Berwyn public library.

I would like to do a 203k loan and live in one unit and rent out the other(s) but I haven’t had the greatest of luck finding a suitable lender.

My parents do not want me to get into hvac they think i may not be successful and will end up hating my career. i think a job like that can motivate me to get started. what do you guys think?

If she can't find another suitable place, that makes me believe she is paying way under market, and unfortunately when you rent those kinds of places, they come with certain challenges, such as a "hands on" landlord.Another factor that was not pointed out yet on this thread, is that the LL is an owner-occupant.
