i rent rooms out in my house, and once had a tenant who brought bed bugs in. i live in a 2 story, 5 bedroom house with a basement, and i successfully got rid of them with diatomaceous earth, but it was messy and time consuming. this is what we did:1. got rid of some furniture that was infested(make sure to rip or spray paint so no one grabs infested items off the curb. 2. dusted the perimeter of each room with diatomaceous earth. so the bugs couldn't travel to different rooms(2 of the bedrooms had no signs of bugs). they can also get in the walls, so we removed all switch and outlet covers and puffed the dust into the walls, then we got some foam outlet/switch inserts(which also help with insulation) , covered those in diatomaceous earth, and installed them under all the switch/outlet covers. 3. beginning with the "safe" rooms that didn't have signs of bugs, we washed all bedding, clothes, curtains, etc.

It's $6 for a muy mini vente no foam no cafe latte!

If you notice anything unusual (bloody footprints, foaming at the mouth, or a clown standing behind the curtain) be sure to point that out.When officers arrive, don't start blurting out your story because you may end up repeating it 50 times.

Average those estimates and shave 10% off of it and then go to a 4th contractor and say this is my budget. 

Both jobs were made more tolerable with disposible rubber gloves and the mechanics gloves are the right weight, the right fit, and the right cost.The shop vac got used to vacuum hair out of the vents, a piece of broken glass out of the garbage disposal, and little shavings of new vinyl floor where the edges were trimmed to fit uneven walls.

First thing though is caulking everything up, foam up plumbing holes, making sure doors have sweeps, etc, so that nothing from outside can get inside.

Your new license is really a hunting license and just like any hunting license it just allows you to hunt and if you don't know how to hunt that is your first thing to learn.When I was a very young investor/agent I used to imitate Elmer Fudd from the Bugs Bunny cartoons when I was shaving in the morning, and sing A Hunting I will go, a hunting I will go, etc.
