Just make sure to have designated parking.

Property taxes are one concern, and then you have possible gift tax, estate tax, and income tax considerations all swirling around at the same time. 

Obviously choosing a designer or not will affect that price. 

Quickbooks and similar programs are designed for businesses and not landlords like us.

As for vacation spots, easiest way to increase attraction is getting creative with designs, especially with paint and get GOOD photos with professional cameras.

@Shardea Miller My advice to you would be this:  Put together some type of presentation, designed to 'sell' people on the idea of allowing you to rent their property for airbnb.   

I am in the final stages of a VA assumption, that was gifted to me by a family member. 

I find the land, financing, design, and he drafts and manages the project.

Just make sure the lender will allow for x amount of gift funds depending on the loan program you are going with.
