Bleeding the air out will only ever be a temporary fix until you figure out where the air is getting into the system.

Our realtor says its a common expectation when renting a basement ADU in an old house, but the common-sense in me says that I wouldn't rent it with that much sound bleed!

Roger's main business does not bleed over into his club, unless you specifically ask him about it.

You get the point, they bleed all your money through the promise of wealth and when you don't succeed they just say, "had you applied what I taught you, you would have been successful".

Overall I guess I'm having a hard time accepting that subsidizing or bleeding cash while betting on appreciation is the right play here.  

Many below have mentioned house hacking, and I would highly recommend that due to the low upfront costs (3.5% down) and the lower pressures associated with being able to work on and improve the house on your own time – versus bleeding cash every month during a rehab that’s not a primary residence.

Over time this will bleed thousands of dollars from your business.
