I had my daughter in my first house i bought, she didn't want any guys to rent, and i was able to rent to just females, but i told her she had no choice in who rents the other rooms, unless she had friends that wanted to rent and she understood that, so i put my own daughter through that.

I am a female alone and I think he feels that I can't do anything about it. 

Can I use this for passive investing in syndications, from  tax advantage point of view as @Ian Ippolito mentioned  ? 

I know a lot of South Asians (Indians/Pakistanis/Bengalis) invest in their own country but that is because they either go back frequently and/or want to maintain ties to their home country. 

As Ian said get them fixed and get an inspector to look and remove the voilation.

Perhaps a female co-worker or female friend.
