If there's only a couple of soft spots that only need an inch or so of leveling it's unlikely any of this will happen. $35k seems very high unless the house is an absolute disaster and the quote includes repairing the interior as well as the foundation.

We look at a bunch of flips and projects and we are in need of a quick same day turnaround with info like: age of furnace (recommend replace or not), age of central air (recommend replace or not), foundation inspection (bowing more than 1.5 inches or not, any walls need to be rebuilt), ducts in good shape or not?
