Replace plumbing valves and hoses, washer hook ups, pull and clear drain traps.

They also have one that hooks to a water hose.

If needed, update faucets and replace all hoses, pipes, washers, seals, etc. if I do.26.

I'd rather have 5 hoses with debt than 1 house with no debt.

I was told by the guy who built the TH that you can hook the toilet up to the sewage pumpout between the house and the street- he showed me an RV at his workshop that had a flexible hose that ran from the black water valve to hook into a connector on top of a sewage pumpout and it seemed like it would work.

Some of these foreclosed during the bust, presumably due to extended vacancy (which can happen just because your property manager doesn't ensure you're marketing a clean, fresh smelling product)  The Austin American Statesman profiled one California investor who let her house go into foreclosure after a washer hose broke, flooded the place, tenants moved out, insurance took a while and the vacancy and insurance deductable took its toll.
