On the other hand, my regional director encouraged me to take that higher grade job.  

@William E. this house does have wood rot in one of the floors in a bedroom.. plus yes, the neighborhood is why I am so hesitant, yes there is revitalization happening but it's not quite there yet, and as a female I worry about this.
