Contact the water department and see if you can get some relief.  

I was trying to get relief based on purchase price and they were not willing to use that .  

One benefit I guess is that it put me well above the standard deduction, so a bit of tax relief there.

I think this future legislation may not focus as much on individual relief as systemic programs.

I do not think there will be much relief for landlords.

what a relief, the 2nd one used old fashion way to post the complaint form by mail so I just have to wait.Since I have done the 1st set of paperwork, it only takes me 2 mins to fill out  the rest just copy and ready to send to state attorney general ( can't believe is that easy) !

(Not to mention stress ... our relationship has been kind of a rocky one and it would be a relief to no longer be their landlord.)Looking forward to your thoughts.

That’s a big relief and will help us a lot.

Hearing that it should last is a relief but I do know a contractor that would take a look if I asked him so perhaps that is a route I will take.
