Funny thing, I am native to Los Angeles and when I flew out to Indy to see some properties and get a feel for the city I drove through the "war zones" during the day and at night and boy oh boy was it a cute little area in comparison to Compton of the 90's.

Upon entering the dilapidated shell-of-a-home that needs to be gutted and cleared of debris, I find 30 year old insulation covering the floor of each room, warped floors, no ceiling, a leaking roof, a destroyed kitchen and an owner attempting shop his home for the highest bidder to hopefully get ARV for his hunk of junk.What I'm finding is a common theme since full blocks are being bought out and the natives being forced out to make way for hipsters, swanky little coffee shops, and inflated real estate prices.

I'm planning on buying multi-family property in the USA; in fact I'm in the USA right now, having a lot of fun learning about your property market.I would like to accept rent payments via direct deposit to my bank account, whereby tenants just tell the bank to transfer the money directly to my account on the 28th of every month, or whatever date has been agreed, OR transfer manually using online banking.In my native Australia, this is the only way that tenants can pay rent for most rental properties; cash and cheques - sorry, checks - simply aren't accepted.
