Hi everyone, I want to understand where do I find turism statistics such as the number of visitors / year, nr. of hotels, nr of STRs, etc, for a specific municipality.

I live in Maine where we get 37 million visitors every year with a population of only 1.3 million so summer tourism is the life blood of the state.

If you think your visitors are going to skew towards families, then vinyl is likely cheaper and more durable.  

Airbnb tends to take visitors to the non-hotel districts where local restaurants are capitalizing off an influx of new visitors. 

Like you said there are some bright spots: the river walk is fancy and attracts visitors and the number one draw is affordability.

They get thousands of visitors/volunteers annually.

Plus, I'm noticing the visitor demand has decreased (I live near a lot of those short-term rentals, and most of them are empty now). 

They attract so many visitors from out of the area that of course will need a place to stay.

By incorporating elements such as artwork, plants, dried flowers, and candles, you can make the property feel warm and welcoming, encouraging visitors to envision themselves living there and making it their own.
