A friend of ours (close friend - was involved in our wedding) needs a place to stay for somewhere between 3-12 months.

If however it is a (parents want you to do something with your life theme) and you could rack up tons of student debt with a degree that doesn't pay that much money than that could be a recipe for disaster.You have to decide if you want to live in the matrix with the herds or outside the matrix.  

As my wife told me before we got engaged "there is no perfect time", not surprisingly it took over 5 years for me to pop the questions (theme?)

That seems to be the common theme I’ve been hearing.  

One was a Sgt in the US Army deployed in Saudi Arabia and she is a wedding photographer. 

We would like to focus on our personal goals before getting married or having children, and why waste the money we have on a wedding when we can be putting down payments on properties and start investing in real estate?
