I have had multiple units in the past that dragged my down a lot more than propelled me forward, and I was happy to dump those.

For example, this past Tuesday on the Fulton county auction they had a house that is listed in the MLS for $6 million and it was sold to the highest bidder for $1.2 Million.   

So having "voted for this" seems like a weak argument when there's no alternative.And if you want to say third parties are an alternative, with basic game theory you can see that in a first past the post voting system, they are not.
