It will help us assess where the "bar" is in terms of competition and what consumers are looking for on the platform.

My concern with Columbus is it reminds me a bit of Memphis TN a few years ago where it was flooded with investors and nearly all homes were out of state investor owned leading to a lot of competition to market rentals to tenants, and lower home appreciation as a result. 

Good for me since I have much less competition.

if you need to rent it for some of the 28 days are you in competition with the hotel for patrons? 

Competition is stiff for the nicer houses/condos and rentable commercial properties.

There is also nothing stopping you from exploring aparment rentals as a rental prospect and see what the competition looks like.

It could make sense to take advantage of minimal competition and relatively "low" home prices while interest rates are still high.2.
