But I would like anonymity from tenants + the ability to protect my personal assets/family from liability, hence the reason I wanted the LLC.At this point, however, I'm not sure its worth the LLC.

Ideally, you can create a WY holding LLC that will offer you charging order protection and anonymity.

Not an attorney, so can't comment on how the LLC protection veil may be pierced.Can tell you that the best protection an LLC gives a rental property owner is some anonymity.

This does not defeat lawsuits, does not achieve full anonymity, etc.

Myself, including others on bigger pockets, have lots of experience, and own multiple properties.Similar to alcohol anonymous (AA), you first need to have acceptance and own up to what happened in past.

., but having it nested in a state with good anonymity provision is a great way to keep you from getting a lawsuit to begin with (because they don't know who to file against).
