Systems can be in place but we all have experience of 2 people the same something be car, shoes, clothes and one person's stuff is in prestine condition and the other person's stuff looks like crap, but I understand your stance.

If your going out to see a low income house or a country mobile home don’t show up in a sports car wearing fancy designer clothes .

I just tell the renters that they will need to use a wash cloth to dry the water in the low spot.  

We drive old cars, I dont buy new clothes on the reg etc -- things have slowly started to get better and I anticipate them to over time but really the material stuff doesnt matter -- if our business is a success and pays off later no one will know the sacrifices we made to get there -- you must be willing to do that and turn your life upside down to get what you want.
