I think most miss how to actually do that.You do not create incentive by being the "low-cost" leader or the Walmart of the TK niche.

Go to your local Target or Walmart and get a bright color poster board and a industrial size sharpie.Write a message on the poster board in "ugly" handwriting.

Others are greeters at Walmart and look miserable.

If you start seeing Save-A-Lot, Walmart Neighborhood Center, or something totally random like "Bob's Gas Station Mart" instead of a Publix on the map, then that's probably a good sign that even Publix didn't want to go there, so you shouldn't either!

Someone working as a Walmart cashier vs a store manager may both work 8Hrs/day, but the store manager is adding a lot more value in terms of increasing store revenue, driving sales, inventory tracking, etc. and will then be compensated accordingly.
