It almost seems like its to good to be true.I know a lot of people on here will say it is not worth it because everything I need will be on here and I cannot learn enough from this website and forum but to have somebody coach you along the way with a invested interest is very appealing.

@Jonathan Bowen There are a lot of catch phrases created by the REI Guru's created to make something not as appealing to become mor alluring, the term House Hacking is one of those catch phrases, at the end of the day nobody wants to be an investor who landlords via a connected wall, it's out of circumstances presented at that time in their investment career.

STRs absolutely can and will cash flow - if you self-manage (completely possible long-distance) and if you have an appealing property in a solid market (PCB certainly seems to be).

I did work in RE in Spain actually, at the bottom of the financial crisis I started an investment advisory firm and we focused in commercial.For my next stage, I want to do multifamily and I do not see the appeal to do it in Spain right now (laws clearly favor the tenant and can make your life quite hard as a landlord).Are you currently investing there?
