I've been interested for a while in building an ADU (my lot is zoned R5) in the back that would have a garage/workshop on the bottom with a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment above it that I could use for hosting guests and as a short-term rental.

Hi Zach,I'm attending a 3-day self storage workshop (Scott Meyer) this weekend in St.Louis.  

Also I highly recommend Scotts training for someone who is getting started I have seen some of his students do wonderful things in the space after attending Scotts work shops and all the networking and information Scott provides this is a case were the course is worth every cent you would spend on it if your looking to bust into SS business. 

They have a weekly free workshop where they feature exactly how the auctions work and then they have a guest speaker who goes into greater detail.

My plan is investing in single family homes mostly but the reason I am asking is because I am making business cards for the seminars and networking workshops I will be attending. 

Had a massive lot and 800 sq ft workshop but the house needed major work.

I recently attended a 3 day workshop and came away disappointed.

Tony & Saen's course seems solid so far, but I'm gonna wait until after the workshop before I decide whether to recommend them to anybody.

He described his typical day to be like as follows: "Let's break it down by pants time. 7am - noon: pajamas, workingNoon-3pm: ski pants, skiing 3-9pm: jeans, adulting (work, shopping, walk dogs, date, etc."
