For me, I like to buy and rent to military personnel because I know that they have a guaranteed housing income (unless they get in trouble at work or something and get it taken away) and will pay on time or my property manager can just contact their command.

To use/rent out the bike shops you have to get them zoned correctly and that might not be possible or easy. 

Some of the criteria I use:-Rent is not current-Most items of value have been removed -utilities are off-Neighbors have not seen them or saw them moving outAbsolutely no need to go thru the eviction process if your criteria is met. 

My motivation is to use real estate as a vehicle for reclaiming my time and to stop trading my time for money as well as to support my love of travel.

Even with a solid signal the end user device has to successfully connect.
