If it's more of a row house, you have a lot less yard to work with, so I would concentrate on simply making sure the yard is need and clean, then focus your energies on the front porch and front of the house.A few must do's for selling or trying to get the highest rent...Power wash the porch, front of the house (unless you have repainted) and sidewalk.

That's ok though because one job he did was a famous hotel in Austin that had glass railing falling from about  thirty stories  up onto people on the sidewalk.

For NNN leases, the landlord has to maintain the common areas, meaning the parking lot (cleaning of it, lighting, repairs, snow removal), sidewalks, trash cans in these areas, landscaping maintenance, the roof of the building, rubbish hauling, exterior building lights.

If it is shoveling the snow on sidewalks or driveways or cutting the grass at a single family home or their half of the dupelx-those are things the tenants should be doing when they rent the house-no decrease in rent, no extra pay.
