In most neighborhoods, there are no two homes that are exactly identical and if somebody has a property for selling and they lower the price, someone else may not have to lower their price in order to sell their property because there are enough differentiating facts when it comes to the property itself.

There is no way to police a transaction and as to damages if an identical method was used, such would be pretty hard to establish!

If you are looking for something to provide usable data if something does happen either with theft or injury that would be the best way to go.
