Fold it and move on.In poker, when you fold, you haven't lost any money (including the chips you put in the pot) yet...it's just in a different pile on the table, accessable as long as you stay in the game.In REI, you haven't lost money unless you continue to pay your tenants to live in your house.  

When a person focuses their portfolio in only one asset class they are spreading their risk 10 fold.  

I am excited to see how all these folds.

The problem in the process here is two-fold. 1.

Everyone wants to go hard ball process and procedure no compromise with contractors but the truth is that for a lot of us small business investors a couple hundred dollars to a tried and trustworthy member of your team will pay dividends ten fold over the course of your REI career.

If the investor is desperate enough they will fold and you could end up with tons of incredible equity and cash flow.

Foreclosures get a reputation in the neighborhood and amongst homeless people.Well, I said I'd keep this short, but I teach all of that one on one and obviously a lot more, because it takes that kind of in-depth understanding to sort out when to hold em' and when to fold em'.
