Hi Folks,Need some clarification on this complex topic.There is a lot of discussion on these tax nuances in BP forums, so I am happy to read any particular thread you can point me to.Basically I have a W2 (above income limits) and I am a General Partner in a multifamily deal.I have received 2 K1s from this deal (one as a GP) and another as an LP (since I put in some of my own money).Am I allowed to take the K1 losses from this deal to offset my W2 income?

From my employer, I have legal insurance through ARAG that covers 100% of attorney fees when buying a primary residence, filing fees are extra.

They will also contact you if any repairs exceed $200 (I'm sure the threshold is negotiable), but will otherwise just take care of it (with their team, or your own if you have folks you prefer to use).I don't know what their contract actually states though so I'd want to look at that more closely.  

Hello Folks, I am fairly new to RE Investing , Currently own one SFR in memphis area and looking to explore some new areas.I recently got a job for a Michigan based company so exploring this as I may visit there every 6 months or so ! 

However, right before closing, the terms changed drastically, and there were $4000 extra loan fees that were never disclosed during the month-long underwriting, despite my efforts to get a clarification on fees.

LCC as a basic pass through and limited partnerships depending on equity arrangements and profit share of the parties add that extra level of flexibility and not needing to split potential individual partner costs or liabilities.  

I plan to live in one of them thought it might be a good idea to use demountable walls instead of drywall to create extra bedrooms to rent out.
