The area is desirable for people on a fixed income, since there are a lot of services here and housing is relatively cheap.It's a real shame, because Longview does have a lot to offer - small town charm, I-5 accessibility.That said, I do provide support to folks kicking the tires in Longview - neighborhoods, driving by properties, meet for coffee, etc.

Please; believe me when i say this far outweighs the reward satisfaction.

Like Shawn said, there must be a greater reward for the risk.

I've been a landlord for seven years, and am excited to learn more and get support and advice from other folks on this crazy and rewarding ride.

Anyone that's been doing this since before the recession operated in that world, I have not and don't think I'd have been a good fit for that world.I know a few realtors that gave up on lending and became realtors specifically because they could not be competitive in a world that rewards crummy behavior.

With that comes reward.

There are lots of great opportunities in Real Estate along with rewarding work that's involved.

Real estate is a risk-reward game.
