I found other ways than the strait and narrow.That cash brings me back to days that might make a lot of you prim pearl-clutchers tongue-cluck in horror, but it was my youth and they were my mistakes and I own them all.I have nothing a value to add to this thread besides putting it out there in the universe I think Jim should ghost write the next BP book.

One thing is to see it in charts another is in person.On my first trip I spend hours driving around and zoned in a neighborhood University area at the time I saw monorail to downtown was being build in that area and knew it would only increase the value of properties.I like being close to major Hospitals/ Universities feel there will always be a demand even during a recession

Frank, Anthony & Colleen....thank you very much for that info, yes I will seek out some real estate investors' groups...I was looking mainly in the Brown University area, spread out as far as Yale....but need to tour the New Haven area and feel comfortable with the ride and/ or have a trustworthy contractor/handyman.I have been to East Providence scoping the area, but need more intimate conversations with local investors.
