Thanks, it all sounds good as long as I can avoid paying hefty taxes and generate cash flow.

There are a good amount of investors on here who could take down (including myself) a portfolio of rentals 

I'd like to know because if they select them as they are entered into their database, right after filing, then there is another good reason to always extend and file on the last day.

As you know, marketing and price are both very important, and vacancy will significantly impact your income, so you are almost always better off charging a lower price and getting it filled with a good tenant.  

A good real estate accountant can save you thousands of dollars by leveraging entity selection and formation, tax deductions, cost segregations, bonus depreciation and tax planning.I recommend finding an accountant specializing in real estate taxation, business taxation, financial planning and tax planning.Consider working with your accountant remotely to expand your options.I would also recommend looking for an accountant willing to work with you throughout the year.

There are a lot of good posts on here so I would take some time and read the forum so you can hit the ground running.
