Installation is not difficult VERY similar to painting. 

Completely redid flooring, painted inside and out, new appliances, fixtures, fans, doors back fence, added back porch, trimmed trees.

Also depending on the year built, lead paint and/or asbestos abatement will be expensive.Here are the things I look for when I do a quick walk through deciding if I want to offer on the property.

@Matthew PaulI take my boys to my projects as well. 8 yr old can assemble a ceiling fan in 20 minutes, 9 yr old can paint an entire room and hang blinds.

Hello all :) I just have a general question.As a real estate agent in NY, if you get a listing from a client...the forms you must have the client sign are 1) Dual Agent disclosure2) Listing Agreement3) Lead Paint Disclosure if the home was built before 1978Am I missing any forms that are required?

Rehabbed property cosmetically -- cleaning, painting, new fences, garage doors, lighting, faucets, A/C units, appliances and landscaping.

Would be just paint inside and out and cabinets. 3 Bathroom counters and some landscaping.

The rest of the renovations are all manageable for us- New kitchen, new heating system ( ductwork all done), flooring and paint, among other items.

We have tenant in a sf in the best neighborhood of the  city on a dead end street.Sec 8 failed huge deck because of peeling paint. 

I did have the building painted - and made sure it was cleaned up.
