Indy has a growing population and a diverse economy, making it an attractive market for multi-family investments.

It would be nice to hit our goals earlier than planned, but that's why there is a plan in place - so we know what we are working towards.  

I am not hunting off market deals, I have contractors I use on my flips, but they are not giving me any spectacular pricing, since I don't do enough to keep them busy full time, and equally important, I want my rentals to be NICE.

That's no big deal if it's just a room being used as a bedroom, but imagine ripping out that nice kitchen and bathroom you put in!

Nice people, knowledgeable people, but less diligent on the PM side. 

We are excited to be in the Lowcountry and can't wait to experience nice weather year around.I have recently retired from my previous job and am thinking about getting into Real Estate full time.

The hardest thing in 2024 is finding cashflow though, most of the nice areas have very low COC if you can even find positive but its always better to start then never get your foot in the door

@John Bertolon, this is one of the many challenges with being a landlord: your tenants have an expectation that you will provide them a safe and nice place to live.  

We don't allow access to our garage as we have a lot of stuff for the house stored there, but having some cool game area in there or more storage would be nice.
